    I would have received $7.50.

Wow... Now i dont feel so bad about $130/ton ($104 USD) that really sucks.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

The only reason that I've taken any steel in is for space reasons, too.

I have a full trailer load of scrap that I started loading back when we were at $100/Ton. I'll haul that in when we get our new truck, but only because I really don't want to unload a 16' trailer, and load it again!

I'm taking some computer power supplies in today. At least they're a little bit higher... I hope!

I stopped scrapping at 4 1/2 cents per pound. Today the price is down to 2 cents a pound.

Steel prices are up a little this week by $10 net ton by me:
    Torching $85 ton
    Sheet $110 ton
    Unprepared $150 ton

But my other yard is still way lower.

As prices keep falling it is looking much more like we will fall to the prices we had in 2000. Aluminum is already there...
