So when do I know when I have enough to get a good amount of money?
This is mill price for the last year, you can see the trend. That is not what you will get at your yard.

Which means that I can't say "I have [x] amount of pounds so I should get [x] amount of money".
It doesn't matter what you say, it's what's on their scale reading that counts.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going to get myself a good scale and get to work.

I meant that as something that I would say to myself in my head as a rough estimate. I never meant to imply that what I say goes. Should've been more clear on that.

That's why I asked this question in the first place. I'm not sure how any of this works. I just didn't want to go there thinking I had a good amount of cans and then just get a few dollars. Sorry, I should've been more clear in my original post.
