Since I'm looking at shipping my gold recovery stuff now, was just curious: every buyer seems to want the coin size battery removed from the mobos. Is this just to prevent corrosion? I can't see the little battery changing the weight significantly.

I just had a "Whoa" moment the other day when I tossed an unprocessed MB (still had the battery) into the MB box and saw a spark. (and repeat) Definitely wasn't my imagination. Sparks = dangerous in transit. I think that's why they want them removed but I could be wrong.Originally Posted by AdmiralAluminum
