Schnitzer Northeast is starting a pricing email newsletter.

I went to Schnitzer to drop of a load of metal and when I went into the office for my check I noticed they had an application on the counter for a price update newsletter.
I asked the women in the office how it would work and she said they are in the early stages of it but they are trying to accumulate some participants and when they have enough they will begin sending price updates via email and possibly text messages. She didn't seem to have much more information but I will check in with them again next time im there and try to get some more info on it.

Just thought I would let you all know in case you have a Schnitzer near by.

Where are you located, I use Schnitzer in southern Oregon price on steel went up 10$ ton this week from 45-85 to 55-95. Would be really nice if they could make the price updates work out as I live a couple hours away. I'll have to ask the next time I go in.

I got a text message from Schnitzer today all it says is "Spring into Schnitzer Steel to get more for you metal today!"

I haven't gotten any prices or emails from them yet but it appears as if I made it to their system.
