The last time I looked here, cardboard was fetching WAY more than scrap steel.
I seem to recall it was about double which seriously had me considering Dumpster diving and just picking up the masses of it behind shops etc.
I thwn found out that it was hard to sell it unless compacted and bailed and that's where the bright Idea fell apart pretty quick. Not only are compactors not cheap, cardboard bails weigh either half or a full ton so not too easy for the home collector to handle and I certainly don't have room for a
forklift!
