    Prices in Fort Wayne

How's it going guys and gals? I've been quietly learning from old threads lately and haven't said much.
Prices here seem to be doing good again.
Copper's FINALLY over $2 a # again. Was starting to think that'd never happen again lol. Aluminum price is dropping like crazy now though. Cans are only going for .48 a # now. Was .60 a # about a month ago. Seems like every time I pass by the yard the sign says it's a few cents lower. Guess as long as copper is going up I can't complain, just crazy how quick and steadily aluminum seems to be dropping.
Have a good friday and weekend though everybody!

The Midwest premium has been dropping for the last few months. LME price on aluminum has been going up though. I don't know enough about the aluminum scrap market to know which has a bigger influence.

Apparently here the Midwest Premium Price affects it more lol. .12 drop in a month. I should've checked the other yards in town too to see how they compare to the yard I went to. Convenience of that yard being a minute from me kinda ruined that though lol

.44 for cast here. Just realized they gave me sheet aluminum price for same type of grill barrels they gave me cast price for last time I was there too. Sheet alum. price is .13 a # less than cast too. Gonna have to add that as another strike against Hoosier Metal. Seems like a couple guys there either don't know what they're doing or just like to pull crap like that smh. Thanks though. Same to you Sir!
