I Got X.XX For Shred Today

    6.5 cents/lb

Went to the yard with a load of shred today. 0.065 at the yard for steel scrap. I didn't have a whole lot, but found a curbco and added miscellaneous collections. Two trips in five days... The shop is empty... Except for the wine cooler the guy across the driveway just threw in the shop.

lucky deal, we get 4 cents at SIMS and 2.5 cents at the place I go to, my quantity is small, under 1,000 generally and SIMS takes forever, so most often I go to the other place, time is money

Can you guys post where you are located when posting prices? And $.065 a pound is great. $130 a ton is a little more than I was getting in January of this year!

quoted $5/100...so $100/NT at a new location I checked out in Winder, GA...they also do electronic recycling. Let's just say I will take a FEW items only...some stuff was WAY off...it was only a small amount of material and I was testing them.
