No way to tell.
If Europe figures out the Greek **** the Euro may stabilize and make the dollar weaker.
That MIGHT raise prices some on scrap.
Chinas economy might improve. Or not...
I don't think stockpiling makes sense.
Just flip and burn.
There will be PLENTY when and if prices recover.
Unless it is small volume stuff like clean copper etc.
I just turned in over 1/2 ton of e-motors yesterday for 15 cents / lbs. And a little over 100 lbs of Aluminum.
It's part of what I call my piggy banks.
Individually not worth jack, but after a few months it was worth almost $200 total.
Will the prices for motors go up a nickel next month?
Possible, but who knows....
They may also drop 3 cents and stay there for 2 years.
I just have $200 in the pocket I did not have yesterday morning and as it was my 'piggy bank' it was money that's NOT part of my day to day revenue.
Spent almost have of it at a street faire/farmers market last night and I had a blast.
Turn and Burn - Turn and Burn...
It's a number's game
