Had to dump some #2 iron yesterday. 1120 pounds at $100 per ton. If I had wanted to haul it to my place, I could have had it picked up for $130 per ton, but no sense in hauling it 200 miles for the extra $16.80.
Looks like prices here have stabilized a bit. Usually they climb from Christmas through Easter. We will see if it happens this year.
