    Prices on random stuff today

    Lots of people ask about prices, so I'll share what I got today.



    Red Ball Recycling, Clarksville, IN 9-11-15

    #2 Sheet $85/ton (down from $90 on 8-30-15)
    #2 Copper $1.78/lb (copper pipe w/soldered ends)
    Lite Copper $1.61/lb (2 types of copper sheet)
    CU Bearing $0.07/lb (5 lb transformer. Wish I had tools to break down)
    Irony Aluminum $0.10/lb (round type B gas vent. Mostly aluminum but there was steel riveted on)
    Sheet Aluminum $0.31/lb (random stuff.. razor scooter parts, heatsinks, cooking utensils, frame from inside large LCD)

    Not bad price's. Here's our's for next week.
    #1 Copper $1.96 lb.
    #2 Copper $1.81 lb.
    #1 Ins. Copper wire $1.20 lb.
    #2 Ins. Copper wire $.70 lb.
    #2 Alum. (old sheet) $.31 lb.
    Alb. (dirty alum.)$.08 lb
    Cast alum. $.38 lb.
    #2 HMS $90 NT
    #2 Sheet Iron $70 NT
    Shedder $45 NT
    Auto Cast $100 NT
    Whole Motors $95 NT
    Bring it on guy's and gal's where buying and paying. Nothing turned away that's legal, and paying today WITH CASH.

    I've been getting $120 for unprepared HMS.. I need to go find more of that! Copper seems like the best bang for the buck. (Rather, best buck for the bang). Pretty much
    the only reason I pick up the CRTs that multiply on the curb here in the Projects.

    Completely agree. Proper disposal is fairly easy in NJ. Went out with my younger brother last week and got 6 tvs/monitors. all the chords were cut but the goodies were still inside. Ill probably save them to break down for when I have time, but I had the space and still plenty more to fill
