Interesting Article, and the future of scrap pricing

Good post, the kind you need to follow, if your serious about recycling. you also have to read between the lines.

China has become a country of imitators instead of innovators. in the 50s/60s they murdered most of thier thinkers by the millions there for destroying that gene pool.

Their methodology today is to use their vast cheep labor force to copy and out produce the world. they were very successful except for one thing, they did not learn a 11,12% growth is un sustainable with out creating a huge economic bubble some where. Their bubble burst some months ago to the tune of 3 trillion $.



While they were buuilding their "ghost" cities they also built from scratch a new 700+ Navy (nearly)100% metal . The Chinese are not stupid they learn from their mistakes.

What I believe they are referring to in making rule and party changes will result in the execution of some of those party officials who became Billionaires building those ghost cities and the navy. I believe over caution will rule the next couple of years with them.

With the Turks it's much different Turkey is a whole different country then most of us see or think and are a much bigger player in world economics then most realise
Don't forget they once ruled most of the known world. but they are surrounded by wars and boarder incursions and iI don't see them doing much untll that is no longer on their radar. mcw opinion
