    1/2 cent lb tin

    Holy jumping jimmininy cricket...decided to research a bit. I am seeing half a penny on tin over here in the ne.... No money in scrap......only parts....sheesh..... Wish I had 30 acres. I would stash crap till it rebonuded if ever. If not my kids would have a college fund.

    Not knowing your location I cannot tell you if you are being underpaid, or if you are one of those unfortunate people that are in a transportation black hole.
    Shred feed is a real PITA to ship if you actually have tin, steel with only paint, you should be able to get a better price but it is hard to ship but still better then shred feed.

    As to waiting I think $60/t at the mill is the market average. right now we are seeing some overreaction to the China bubble collapsing.

    Now you want to be really scared??? Cu will drop back to it's norm $1.60/Lb at the mill before it goes back up .

    And with precious metals having slipped significantly. E scrap prices should fall soon... should have fallen already!!! Escrap may hold... only because people where actually underpaying, and recovery technology is improving
