    Thumbs up Pricing Rise: Copper

Since mid-January, prices are up for Copper; albeit slightly around Southern NJ:

Bare Bright from $1.85/pound to $2.00/pound

    #1 Copper from $1.75/pound to $1.90/pound

    # 2 Copper from $1.60/pound to $1.75/pound

Not sure why Brass ($1.20/pound) and/or insulated wire ($0.60/pound) haven't followed the trend?

brass and ICW both go to separate facilities for processing, and those facilities have a stockpile of material so do not have a need to raise prices... yet they will follow eventually
