    Cat 5/6 ethernet cable

I have been told from a scrap dealer that this is the best insulated computer wire, and is close to 50% copper by weight. He told me he would offer like $1.20 a pound. Other places offer only $.60 cents for this wire.

I was wondering if anyone knows what I should get for CAT 5, and if it should get me more money than other computer wire.

Yeah I think that is a fair deal. I would agree that it is a 50% wire. Actually from our chop reports it is closer to a 53-55%. With that being said we buy power cables as a 50% wire as well.
