    Brass price today in So. AZ

    In cleaning out my father in laws house (he passed away last year and we are getting it ready to sell soon) I found 18 pounds of brass got $1.23 a pound for it. Going to get rid of the old appliances and other steel next. I may just put them behind the house instead of taking them down to the scrapyard... as prices still suck here!

    Filled up the fridge with shred steel, taped, roped and tied it shut! Weighs prob. 500 lbs. Put it in the alley today. Some lucky scrapper will get $15. Only way I could make it easier would be to load it on the truck for them! LOL Felt strange giving it away but then again kind of refreshing not adding stuff to the piles of metal I have here!
