I'm about as far away from the quake as you can get, at the time I was driving my car and never felt it, then when we stopped we got a text asking if we felt it.
So it was felt all over NZ, 800kms south and about 1000kms north of the 300km dia quake zone.
So far I have not actually even felt a quake from the strong quakes over the last 5 years, or even been there to see the aftermath.
With plastic coated wire, I have found out to keep the 'tinned copper' wires separate from the 'bare copper wire' (but inside the plastic coating)
There's different grades for them and any way to increase the price is worth it.
