    Today's prices in Las Vegas

Hi all! Got a couple of price bumps recently. Here's what today's load brought:

Tin: 5¢/lb (up from 2.5-3¢/lb in November)
Extruded aluminum: 50¢/lb (up from 45¢/lb earlier this month)
Cast iron: 8¢/lb (same for last seven months)
Copper #2: $2.40/lb (up from $2.30 last load to this yard)
Breakage: 5¢/lb (same for last seven months)
Aluminum: 35¢/lb (same for last couple of months)

I am likewise in Las Vegas and would love to know what yard this is. The yard closest to me in Henderson is paying numbers about half what you're quoting.

This is Desert off Carey by Nellis. Their prices are normally the best across the board but currently Champion on Meade by the 15 beats them on tin. The yard you're referring to is prolly that S & A off Sunset, yes?

No, but close. Nevada Recycling, right on Sunset just east of 95.

Keep in mind that a small amount of the price difference stems from the quantities I bring in (like I bring a few hundred pounds of extruded at a time which gets me a small bump), that I tip the folks at the scale and that my load is well organized so the folks at the scale don't have to do much work. But the prices the lower yards here pay are shameful.
