checked here I'm still getting 0.33
You might want to check that battery price. I've never heard of anywhere that cheap. Works out to 0.028/lb. As a middleman, I pay 0.12/lb.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
That is a really good price. With my sign in the yard, I usually end up with 2 or 3 a week, and I don't have to go get them, they come to me,,, lolchecked here I'm still getting 0.33
The only other place I know to drop off batteries gives $2.00 for car batteries so I'm not sure if its just like that in my area or what.
Yeah that is super cheap for batteries. Our Current price is 0.36/lb. That is a quantity over 5000lbs though. But I currently pay .31/lb
Escrap where are you located? It must be a regional thing. Batteries around here go for .20-.23/lb.Originally Posted by Escrap

And Mick is getting .14 I think the last time he posted. Might be worth it to transport a load down for .10-12 more a lb.Batteries around here go for .20-.23/lb.
Interstate Battery in Boise is paying $12 per battery. I need to weigh a few of mine and see what that comes out to.
CLR,
We are located about 20 Mins from down town Saint Louis. I have once heard that Stl had one of the best metal markets around, but who knows. Haha
So only about 900 miles from me. Definitely a different regional scrap market.Originally Posted by Escrap
