My trip to the yard today

    aluminum cans 57 cents
    auminum radiatior 52 cents
    battery 17 cents
    #1 bare bright 2.75
    #2 copper 2.55
    #2 insulated copper 95 cents
    electric motors 23 cents

It seems prices have come back up recently and I now have some space in my garage and bins again.

    Oh yeah, $256.89 today

The biggest ticket was the bare bright. I had 36 pounds of that that I got at a garage sale for $5. Spent about 4 hours stripping it over the course of a couple evenings.

Well, I don't go to garage sales specifically looking for wire. It just happenned to be there. the guy said he got tired of stripping it. Dumby should have taken it in for $1.15 jacketed at the time then.

Your not on the wrong coast, your taking your stuff to the wrong yards. I know it would be a long ride for you but I take my #2 insulated to pinellas county and get 1.00#
