how does one become a "Behr Preferred Card Member" ?

Basically, you walk up to their checkout window and ask for a preferred customer card and they take your info from your license. You are then issued a card with a barcode on it so that you can scan in each time you get rung out instead of them needing an ID each time.

it allows them to track what you sell, how often and how much. they can use that info to determine individual pricing.

it will also allow them to easily generate the 1099 that the irs requires.

IRS, is this for buisnesses or if you total a certain amount for the year? Just never heard a yard giving out 1099's.
