    I took no offense to your original post and was not coming to Jim's rescue. I know he is a big boy and can handle himself. My post was just pointing out the differences in pricing that occur in different regions. Some readers of this forum interpret it as their local yard is screwing them because you or some other buyer is paying much more in another part of the US.
    With regards to my supposed lack of knowledge of the copper market I have better things to do then argue on the internet. I will say that several tons of insulated wire is part of my monthly volume and leave it at that.

    Ok couldnt resist this and please dont take offence to it its just me making a funny.

    I have horses and deal with several tons of crap a month too. Does that make me an expert in horse poop?
