    Current Columbus Ohio Prices as of 3/9/12--Post here to see prices across the usa!

    Three different yards pricing for a few materials. Post here to see what other yards are paying around the usa!

    bare bright: 2.75, 2.90, 3.50
    number 2 cu--2.65, 3.10
    Al extrusion--.45, .50, .63
    loose sheet steel--250 net ton
    whole autos--260 net ton
    308 stainless--.63 & .50



    All different when I called around yesterday. Greedy bastards--I'll wait a little while longer on my cu lol.

    I called 2 yards yesterday
    bare bright $3.15 westford ma
    Cast $350 a ton clinton ma
    unprepared 290 a ton
    aluminum .40-.70 cents/lb
    And 150 for torch material

    I too am holding my cu for better days, anyone remember 4.00 a pound last june?

    4 bucks isn't going to happen maybe 3.90. Hitting 4 bucks a lb for copper is like gas hitting 4 bucks a gallon nationwide. It going to fall like a rock if it hits that high consumers and industries will start to cut back on it or attempt to use a cheaper alternative. It just doesn't justify the four dollar price range at all.
