yard nears me dont take steel wire/fencing & recently they stopped buying copper pipes bcos the police asked them to stop buying them to discourage the drug addicts who have been ripping out peoples copper piping to sell for drug money.

Anything with too much plastic, including most modern vacuum cleaners.

Most yards in PA are scanning everything that comes in for radioactive contamination.

I have been getting away with bike tires and dishwashers with plastic tubs.

I did get turned away when I brought in 2 6160 aluminum ramps that are used on box trucks. I guess they are on the same list of banned items as stripped copper and other items that the tweakers steal.

Years ago a cadaver was found in the trunk of a car about to be fed into the shredder after that incident they now pry open every truck with the loader fork.
