    Question Rate my Boards

    Hello All,
Ok, I come across this type of board quite often. They are obsolete telecom units and we have allot of them. In your opinion what would you rate it on grade? I know there is not a bunch of great stuff on the top, but there is quite abit of gold on the back. I tested one and it seems to stay up to 22k.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Looks like medium grade but the gold content may push it to high grade. Get a hold of Dunemaul on this forum, he'll be great help and may even be able to help you get top dollar for them if you have a good amount.

I would think mid grade around $1.50 a pound? Im still learning the grades and prices but that would be my best guess. Hopefully one of the bigger buyers will chime in.

Ive been told to buy them at low grade motherboard price. $1.75-$1.95. I'll check in the morning as well, I'm still learning my new grade scale.

I didn't know low grade paid that much. If that's the case I may spend more time messing with them.

I think he said low grade motherboard. thats way difrent then what most people call low grade. Low grade to me is out of tv's vcr dvd players stuff like that. I think that low grade is around $.15 at most yards.

PTS just wait till Friday :-p big news. But yeah calling them low grade mobos probably wont work. Probably going to categorize these boards at high-medium grade circuit boards.

Im setting up my camcorder to my computer and ill be getting a small reference guide together based on my standards (i think alot of people gonna like it).

That's a low grade board. Those IC chips are plastic and lead. That is not gold on the back of the board. It is copper tracing with a protective coating. The tracing is only on the surface and is of low quality.

More power to you. If someone will pay you more for them, then let them be the fool.

Typical low grade board, not worth jack but .10 or .15 a pound. If someone is purchasing those from you dunemaul at a higher price, i wouldn't go for it. It's obvious they don't know what they're talking about, and are very ignorant as to E-Waste. I would be very weary, once they get the product from you, what happens if they become educated? You lose all that money you paid for them.

Dune it's just another way to be deceitful. Act like a normal human being, don't always try to "one up" everyone else.

Not worried bout it in the least Hoss, this was in the post he referred me to. Going by what he told me, i gave the pricing. Im not worried about him not being educated cause he's on here as well. Even if it is a low grade board ill correct the grading but for now i go by what im being told.

    Man i cant wait.....

You're going to get screwed. One party is educated (you) the other one, i have no idea, a whole dif level of dumb i guess, considering he's on here, so he knows, and he STILL pays. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Someone is going to lose money, because their is no way for him to make any money. So, you're going to get screwed. Simple really.

Correction: This is not medium high grade board. I confirmed it as a low grade telecom board :-) 1.25 a lb.

Got to love the response time.

Still alot better then the .10-.15 cents that most people get for low grade.
