I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I highly doubt that is platinum. It kinda looks like a big heat sink. It's probably just a big piece of aluminum.

Ok, now I see what you are talking about. Just to clarify, its the little dollop of metal on the end of the finger right? That might be platinum, but you are going to have to test it. Bring it to a gold buying shop or test it yourself with at kit like this: Amazon.com: Gold Testing Kit 10K 14K 18K 22K Silver Platinum: Home & Kitchen

I don't think there are different grades, but from some Googleing it seems there are different alloys of the metal. I've never been able to find or get my hands on any platinum, so I have no Idea.

Sorry to bust your bubble but they are not platinum. They can be either palladium or they can have a small amount of gold in them.
We buy electronic scrap, Gold Karat scrap, gold filled, refined gold, silver and many other item's.

That looks like Palladium to me. I found a bunch of that inside old Hammond organs. Worth keeping though, Palladium is like $630 an oz.

Palladium closed at $652 on friday. That would make it $594.62 an oz sonce PM is measured in Troy oz not regular oz. Sorry im a freak about numbers.

Almost certainly palladium, maybe a little nickle where it is attached.
On the organs fiat128, you know to keep an eye peeled for any A,B,or C models right? These will bring way more than the couple of pennyweight of palladium from collectors.

They look similar to the tiny contacts behind a rotary dial telephone dial, 'cept they are a gold colour.
