    escrap find

    hey all i work at a apartment complex where i get a lot of scrap metal we had a lot of rain past few days today i found 2 computers jus sitting in a puddle of water so i snached them up what should i do with them? i only know about and acquire metal scrap so i probably will never get any more computers

    I would look on craiglsit and someone in your area probably buys escrap......You'll probably get around 4-5 each for them

    get you a phillips screwdriver and take those suckers apart! The mainboard(including the attached CPU, heatsink and RAM) , hard drives, and smaller boards hang on to (they are the most valuable, $10-$15+ per unit, and those parts don't take up lots of space). Until you learn to break the rest of it down, just toss it in your scrap metal for maybe $2-$3 each. Start reading here about breaking the rest of it down and you'll learn to make more from power supplies, dvd drives etc. Keep looking for more, put a flyer on the apartments bulletin board offering to recycle them to keep them out of your landfill
