If you are talking about the large dishes I've scrapped 2 of them on was mesh the other solid both made of alum! The small dishes that are out there (dish network, direct tv) are steel. The alum ones are worth it to take, mesh one breaks down easy it is bolted together solid one I had to cut up with a sawsall. I take the steel ones as they add to the steel pile...
