    Stainless Steel Question.

Hi guys, Sorry if this has been asked before, but I noticed that some stainless steel is magnetic. Things like knives, forks, tweezers, scissors, etc. I know that they are stainless because it says so on the product most of the time. I was wondering if there is a difference between the two (other than them being magnetic lol), like is one typically worth more than the other?

    -Thanks

yards near me won't buy the magnetic as stainless, they'll only pay as shred.

Just to add alitte, grade such as 301 can be magnetic too and normally worth around 0.15-0.20 lesser than the normal s/s 304 price.

If you have larger volume, your yard might be willing to pay 0.10-0.15 higher than shred for grade such as s/s 430 which is also magnetic.
