    Copper Wire Theft

For some, copper wire recycling has been an illegal way to make some money. So, in your opinion, what is the best way to solve this problem?

Enforce theft laws already on the books. The theft of copper wire is no different than the theft of anything else.

The theft of copper wire is used by politicians as an excuse to put in place more laws and regulations to give the impression they are earning their pay. I suggest we resist the urge to support/demand additional governmental intrusion into this and other industries. Mike.

Scrap metal theift always rises just after its mentioned in the newspapers.

They mention "Copper Garden Planters". Hold onto your planters as they are now a 'hot' item.

They mention "Copper spouting" Spouting gets stolen.

Guys metalrecyclingmachine is not trying to sell you anything, he's a legit contributing member of the forum.
We have too many deleted posts bashing this guy for his username. He IS a metal recycling machine, he's not selling one
