I've gotten several snow machines and always wound up just hauling them in without trying to break them down. There didn't seem to be any interest in parts - seemed like the skin was always cracked which was the only thing I'd get calls about. As far as tearing them down, it just looked like too much trouble. So I'd just load them on the trailer and go. I think I've still got one out there that's been here for a couple years.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Yea this is my first one I noticed alot of aluminum even the engine is aluminum so would make sence to break it down to get the clean aluminum price

whats wrong with it? Does it run? Was it wrecked? I would think an 07 would have alot of value still. Heck I paid $300 for an 88 and 2 95's

the only thing wrong is the engine is locked up but rebuild able the only thing about selling it would be a hard sale for us as we are in texas where snow does not fall. But was thinking about trying to sell if off and let them handle the shipping

To the OP - I'm going to edit the title of this thread so it'll come up if someone does a search for "snowmobile".

Ill post a pic for him. As this sled sits its worth about $200 for someone who wants to part it out. If you part it out you could probable get that just for the seat. Man you had my hopes up that you had a complete sled.

Ok after a break down on this unit we found out what did have value and save it but the rest of we scraped out here is how we did on this unit just to give you all an idea on this it took me 4 hours to break it down as far as we could
    Aluminum Breakage 78 pounds
    Aluminum Light 108 pounds
    metal 180 pounds
    copper wire 4 pouinds
For us that was a 102.78
That does not include handle bars engine or body parts that are plastic but retail sale if good for it all
