    The guy I sell to lets me toss them in with the scrap motors. I generally scrap about 900 pounds of motors at a time so he really does not lose much given what he makes on what I sell.

    I understand some yards are sensitive about these caps because older ones may contain PCB's. Then again, most microwaves post-date the US ban of PCB's so they shouldn't be a real risk, which is why I leave them in the microwave.
