    New Guy question?

Can you scap tin cans like the ones fruit and vegetables come in? I see places were you can drop them off for free but does anyone buy these back like aluminum cans? Just wondering? Like I said I am brand new to scrapping so any help is appreciated. I just lost my job so I am looking to help make some money to feed momma and the kids. Never been one not to work. Would scratch poop for a blind rooster if it meant I could feed the wife and kids. LOL

I usually mix them in with my load, as with most questions it is best to ask the yard that you will be selling to, they may say yeah sure as long as they are clean or they may say no, dont want them at all.

Also multiple posts on here about food cans.

I clean them and pull the paper labels off so they are super clean and the yard doesn't fuss at me.

I run them over to smash them then throw them inside an old microwave carcass. I get shred price for it all.
