Haul Away Job + Possible future leads from customer.

I received a phone call earlier today from a landlord that owns a couple different properties in a city roughly 20 miles away that is interested in having myself come and remove some items from her property for payment. Such as haul for hire. At this moment she is interested in hiring me to remove roughly seven big office desks out of one of her property's. I am wanting some insight from fellow scrappers or haulers on exactly what I should charge for such service? I of course have realized at least calculating gas prices into the fee. This is my first haul away and I don't want to overcharge or low ball at the same time. So any insight would be very helpful.

For these desks you will either have to hire someone or possibly take them apart to move them by yourself....Are they metal or wood??.......Need more info

Sorry for the brief summary of the service, I will be taking apart the desks myself, and they are wooden. I am just curious to a rough estimate on a base rate to go by. I have means of either donating, personal use, disposing of said desks.

Hope that clears a little bit of confusion up.

If i were to do the trash /haul away i would charge 50 a desk hire a helper and bring them to a donation salvauation army or similair next.

Sorry for newbie question but is the 50 a desk including such as trailer/truck wear and tear, fuel prices, labor etc? I have never done this sort of thing until now, so 350$ for seven desks seems reasonable to you 1956?

yes and take them to a donation center no dump fees and the charity gets the desks

i bill at $75 a yard so with 1 level 8" pick up bed being a yard i estimate it from there.

or 160 a ton based on material

If the desks are in decent shape, try selling them, or take them to a local auction.

An 8" bed is a lot more than 1 yard, depending on the model it is 2-3 yards.

A yard is 3'x3'x3' totaling 27'.

Multiply the length x width x height of your bed then see how many times 27' goes into it.
