New to scrapping, A few ?s

Hey all, an yway i am sort of new to scrapping, i have been doing it the last few months and want to make it easier on myself.so

First off I have a Milluake sawzall and good blades, I am looking to get an angle grinder next, i have been looking at the skil grinders at lowes, They are only 40 bucks and was wondering if they are any good?

Also What other tools can make the stips of some pieces easier like on washers,dryers, ovens, etc. i have many tools just wondering what are the most effective ones.

For a stove, the tools I use are both types of screw drivers, smaller sockets w/socket wrench and extension. Make sure to pull out the brass gas regulator things where the dials are. You will most likely need the mini screw driver set to strip those down. There are a few steel parts in there, but easy to get out with small enough drivers. As for a mini screw driver set, I am talking the ones that you can get to fix eye glasses. I noticed that I use those a lot when it comes to finely stripping an item or if I am dismantling a dvd/cdrom drive.

One of my best tools is a Black and Decker cordless screwdriver with a 1/4 inch drive. Most of the screws on appliances are 1/4 inch, so all you need to do is insert the driver over the screw and press the button. A lot easier than using a socket or wrench.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I was stripping a snow blower yesterday and was using sockets and wrenches is this a good way to go, or should i have not spent the time on it and just have cut them?

The only thing I cut is cooper tubing from ac's. I guess I just never had any reason to cut anything. It doesn't really take that long to take a screw out. I think you'll be fine.
