I have a non-working Cisco 12000 series chassis that i am disassembling for scrap (parts inside are not usable or resellable). The backplane board (about 16"x16") is sandwiched in aluminum front, back and sides. Has anyone tried to separate the aluminum? Or should i just pull the pins off the backplane and sell the rest as mixed aluminum at the yard? Or maybe there is a buyer here that would buy the backplane as-is (i will eventually have about 30 of these)? If so send me a pm and i'll take the effort to send a photo. I would include a picture here but its just too time consuming without the ability to copy/paste.
Thanks!
