    Which way do you go with old auto AC compressors ?





    These are some old auto / truck AC compressors. Which way do you go with them? One looks like cast aluminum case, the other like cast iron. Do you put them with cast aluminum/ cast iron, with short iron, dirty aluminum, cores maybe?

    I sell all mine for aluminum breakage. Depends on the yard, but i don think many yards would argue with aluminum breakage for such items
    Alvord iron and salvage
    3rd generation scrapper and dam proud of it

    You check it with magnet ? Some of those look like steel but are really al. If the body is indeed iron, I'd put it in with my prepared, or short iron.
