A lot more scrap ending up in China

How much of our scrap is ending up in China? Finding out that most if not all nonferrous materiel in my town is being sold to people in China. Makes me want to find a different yard, but whose to say its not going to just end up there anyway. If i find a yard that doesnt sell to China its probably just a middle man selling to someone that is. Since China pays the most how could recycling companies be competitive and stay in business if they werent doing what everyone else is doing. are scraps are fueling the cheap chinese products we have here in US.

that's kind of a no brainer sense we don't manufacture any thing here any more we don;t need the scrap. we are now just money movers, waiters, and hamburger flippers.

What goes to China, stays in China ; ) haha, that's an old saying I just made up! They save the good stuff to build their new battleships and war machines. They own so much of our debt the interest alone is over 100 Billion a year, funny thing being, that's around the same amount they're putting into their military build-up, in effect, making us the ones financing their new war machine.

If you're worried about this, remember putting anything useable into the hands of someone that needs it not only keeps that metal from going to China, but also keeps someone from buying something made in China (sometimes).

perhaps it's time to open up some mills in indochina sounds like there is plenty of workers and material. They handle all the pollution and the capital gets sent back home.
