often... not always. they can add up though for sure. I also pull the brass plugs from electrical cords when time allows...

I save em' but not yet to bring in any tho
It depends on how much time i have. I try to save them when I can.
[QUOTE=sollozo45;157742]Whenever I run into these i clip the part where there is no copper and throw them in my yellow brass bucket. My question is does anybody else snip and save these?
Yes. They go in my Yellow brass bin.
I filled up a 12 oz tin can with brass clippings, ends out of plug-ins, keys, and misc.brass bits and ended up with 5 lb at 1.95 lb.

I save them all, and all the small Brass parts from everything.
It worth's to save it.
I used to but it just isn't worth it right now, I dont go out scrapping around the city, only now I just pick up from companies, and get a few bites here and there from CL. I think I am making more with E-waste less work involved. I haven't had to pull out my 16lb sledge hammer in a long time now.
I save all things brass. Sometimes, you even find brass inside of the big desktops. They are usually just nuts holding the motherboard in place. They add up. I have about half a 12 oz can with just nuts from computers from the last few weeks. It isn't much, but if I'm cutting gold ends off of wires, I'm going to keep the brass as well.
Oh, and I opened a dead power strip and I found a lot of it!
Haha..what Mudlucky said. Last batch of gateway towers I had. Each had 4 brass risers attached to the mb. Those babies are all sitting in a jar now waiting for me to cash them in when it's full. I'ven taken to chucking all my small brass in there with them.
Someday it'll buy ice or beverages for the cooler. lol.
