    Anyone have any idea what this is? To disassemble or not to disassemble

    Unsure what this is, and if it has value as anything more than the pile of copper and brass that it is...

    Since it is old could it have polychlorinated biphenyls?

    What pieces are safe to take?

    I was unsure if it has more historical value than scrap value

    They're what the label says...relays.

    Maybe some silver contacts in there.

    I read what it said it was, but thought it was big for a relay. I was wondering if that small part could be a relay, and the whole thing something else.

    The side of it look exactly like the side of the boards in this picture... they are black.

    Looks like what they used to call a relay switching station for a telephone company.

    And the relays are under the clear plastic covers.

    I think most or all phone companies have went automated so I would think scrap value only.
