    Cemetary flower vase

A friend of mine gave me this vase from his mothers grave, a lawn mower chewed on it for a bit.
Does this go in the brass pile? Not sure if other metals are mixed in.

Not sure what your yard will say. I would contact them. Let us know what they say...

Have a note in hand from your friend to, would be my suggestion. Stuff like that likely sends off alarm bells at Yards.

    Just a thought.

Sirscrapalot - Careful what you wish for, you just might get it. - Dunno, I'll look it up later.

Anything put on a grave is paid for by the family, therefor it belongs to the family. The yards by me won't buy that without proof of ownership.

I still say take a letter with you from your friend, an maybe go the step of having it notarized. If that destroys any profit, then I'd say just pass on it. As the others said, yards hate that kind of stuff, an it's a good way to end up in a discussion with the law. An who needs all that drama.

You can thank the jerk thieves for that.

Sirscrapalot - Thieves..the newest an best form of target practice. - Yep politically incorrect but I got the nerve to say what the majority are thinking.

In the cemetery where I have a family member buried, someone came through and took all the vases (family member's included). At least 1000 vases.

Its red brass, if its damaged it might be ok, its up to the yard you take it to. It also depends on the person that's bringing it in too, if its a crackhead hell no. Shouldn't be any yard buying it then.
