    Fuel pump scrapping.

Sorry if this has been asked put I couldn't find anything on it. Anyone one here pull them and strip the copper from them? There seems to be a lot of copper wire wrapped in them from what I've been told. Would it be listed as #1 copper ?

    Fuel pump scrapping.

If your talking fuel pump assemblies from vehicles for me not worth the time to even tale the small motor. Did two a while back to see. small motor little bit of wire and some shred worth about .50 scrap value. Next ones I get on the shred untouched. Any wire in those small motors even if copper will be number 2. Just a suggestion, there's better things to do with ones time.
As a driver I'm always sober, but my truck is always ready to get loaded

Depends on what you are doing I guess, what do you have more of, time, money, metal?

The fuel pump, I see a bobbin of Copper wire in it, probably 50-100gms Copper there. But, look at the Coil, theres 100 gms there too, starts seeing a few other things with 100 gms of Copper & next you have $50.

We do about 8 cars a week at my work. Shouldn't take long to get a bucket of copper. I'll just have to give it a try to see if I feel its worth the time.
