PDC Cutters (Carbide/Polycrystalline Diamond)

Hey Fellow Scrappers,

I have about 120 lbs of scrap PDC cutters. These are the "teeth" that are in drill bits used for oilfield drilling. I know new they're worth about $100/cutter and I have literally hundreds of used scrap cutters I'm trying to offload. They are a carbide body with a polycrystalline diamond tip (google image search for pic). The go-to company online for this sort of thing seems to be a business called PCD Recycling based out of MI, but they wont get back to me for some reason and Im tired of trying to get a response out of them.

Anyone know anything about scrap PDC cutters, or where I might be able to offload?

Oh sorry, of course! I work for a PDC drill bit repair facility. Bits come in with damaged cutters daily and the damaged ones need to be replaced with new ones. The old ones used to just get swept up at the end of the day and tossed, so I started putting them aside.

the pcd inserts are not worth anything but if it is a carbide cutter that it is brazed too it then we buy those for $10.75 a pound with or without the pcd inserts brazed too them.
have a recycling facility in south carolina but if you can't make it here you can ship it to us and if you have over 40 pounds we reimburse the shipping.
