what are Ni-cad and Ni-mh batteries?

Ni-Cad is Nickel Cadmium and Nickel-metal hydride
These are the compositions of the batteries. Not to be rude, but google is a good source of information, and quicker than the forum sometimes

I don't know very much yet to speak on matters of scrapping, but I like old TV too!
