is this copper? gold? smth else?

Pulled this out of an on VCR. On one side the disk looks like a circuit board full of yellow patches. Is this some type of gold plating? Copper? Somethings else?

By the way, on the other side it has a ferrite disk with some copper wire inside.

The yellow colored patches look like gold plating.

I take vcrs apart all the time. The yellow part is brass and i believe those patches are too. But i just throw the patchy part away.

Sometimes on some circuit boards you can get what looks like gold all over it but its a silvery metal thats been painted over in a transparent brown resin. The combination looking like gold
