    Wow. I find the exact same heatsinks in 'inverter heatpumps'.

    They are pretty common here , last about 5-7 yrs and die from a badly placed 5cent smd transistor and a little oxidation and movement.



    Well the last one I took apart did......

    Taking apart 3 of them soon. Will, report back..
