...how should I scrap them?
I've been clipping them from any insulated wire I find, but am unsure on how to get the best price. Should I wait until I have a decent amount of just connectors, or just throw in any other brass/bronze I might have?

I do the same thing. I've got almost a jar full of them. Figure when I get more brass I'll scrap em all together.
I keep my smaller brass pieces like that in a little steel can. Just so there wont be little pieces scattering and getting lost when the scrapyard dumps out my brass it out to inspect.
I have taken that small can of brass clips & put it in a fire to roast.
The rubber melts, burns, turns to ash.
Then I take it out & let it cool down & tip it onto a sieve made from a old microwave door.
Scrape that around for a while & let the ash drop off.
Then I poured it into the top of a car radiator & bashed the opening closed.
I get 'Rad' money for it. hehe
