    On a serious note, why?

    They are pretty flat, easy to haul, let the scrapyard take care of that.

    I have to remove tires for my yard to take them. I also remove the alum parts like breaks and the bracket holding down the handlebars

    take the rims off, most of the hubs are aluminum, but spokes are steel. even then, they are mixed aluminum, worth a little more than scrap. I sell my bikes i find that are in working conditino for $30. Unless you need to scrap them due to not working, id resell them. But yes, if then, thats how i ''bust them up''

    some hi end bikes are titanium I think.
