I had no idea where to post this, so...
Do the nicknames on here ever expire or get deleted? I was searching old threads and I found one posted by the guy who stole my name!Ironically he doesn't live far from me.
Anyway, he only posted five times and hasn't been on here since 2011! Does anyone know if taken nicknames ever become available again? Obviously not a huge deal, but I have the other name on my business cards and use it in other places.

I'd really like to just dump the "42" off my Username.. But "Sledge" all by itself is taken also. I feel your pain my man!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

Id LOVE to change the 0690 at the end of my username..... that username used to be my school log in, and i would like to change it for obvious reasons.... LOL like everyone else said, its not a huge deal but anyone who reads it may think Its immature and that I did it on purpose.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

If you're wanting to change your user name, send Admin a support ticket from the Support tab at the top of the page, easy to do!

I've had this nickname at work and as user names for a long time. I had to shorten it because there were already many versions of jimmycrack (gmail) being used. I never really considered if it might be offensive to anyone and I hope nobody thinks I'm a tweeker because of it.

Mines easy. my truck is gray so i go by greytruck. spelled with a "E" not an "A".
Best nickname for one scrapper across town i came up with is DodgeCowboy. Drives a dodge and wears a cowboy hat

Neither did I!!!1 That's crazy!! I don't even have a nickname per say - Julie is my actual name believe it or not! I've got a couple that I usually use but I guess I didn't think that I would be taken as seriously as I wanted to be taken - this being my very first forum and all

I like my nickname because, well, I'm a burly guy. Besides, there are people in my life who can't remember my name is John. And they just call me Burly or Burly Guy. I've grown quite accustomed to it, and couldn't imagine having chosen another user name on here.
