Building with vintage boiler / riveted steel beams

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking at a property that has very large boilers and misc riveted steel beams to scrap. Beams are 24"+ tall, 40' ft long. Boilers are as large as cars. Any advice on maximizing profit from scrapping these items. Broker the the salvage rights out? I do not have the equipment, nor experience to get these items to a yard. We will demolish the building - which we can do!

    TIA!

Isn't asbestos a concern with old boilers? If it is then you will need a contractor to do that work. Mike`

I think we have a thread going right now that is right down your alley about dismantling a building. It's a good read with lots of pictures. Maybe someone can post the link,,,
