Does anyone know what this is?

I won this item in an auction a couple months ago and have no idea what it is. The metal circular part is approximately 5" across and is magnetic. The item is polished on top and is also threaded at the top. I have 5 more of these new in the package, but none of them has any identifying marks and/or numbers on them. Any help on this item would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like a CB antenna mount for vehicles. Magnetic base to stick to the roof, threaded end for whatever type of antenna you want, the plug connects to the CB itself

Thanks guys. I did a quick ebay search and came up ham radio/cb antenna. That makes sense because there was other items in the lot associated with ham radio's. Thanks again.

The mag. part is called an NMO mount. Possibly sold by Workman Products of Ohio and was used a lot by hams for their mobile antennas. There is a variety of different antennas that will screw on there. There is also an adapter to change it over from NMO to CB style of antenna. Will have probably 17' of coax with PL259 on other end. Found one by Workman but it's a little different, so it was brought into the country by another company. Sold a crap-ton of that style over the years. They run about $ 20. to 30. retail. The coax is copper, RG-58u.

Take them to your local CB store and offer them as a lot for $10. each and you might unload them easy. I know I would buy them if I was still in the business.
